Love the Sea Turtles

You all know how we love the sea turtles and visit the Turtle Center on Jekyll at least once a year. It was so fun to find this outfit with a turtle on it for Boyd.
Got out the cricut for this fun LO. Don't tell my husband but, I don't think I use it as much as I should. Got my monies worth on this page though. It is all cricut with a few beads. The paper is from the glitter cardstock matstack by Die Cuts with a View. It gives that perfect glistening effect. I have to tell you I thought I was done with this LO got a spot of clue on the upper right corner and in trying to get it off, bent the paper! Yikes! What to do? Maybe a cover up with another diecut from the Stretch your Imagination cartridge? Yep that works! Whew ! that was close!

Eye Candy for the Ladies

You know I had to do a photo shoot of our 'Little Buckaroo' while he was here. He humored me all the way with the cowboy hat! LOL All you cowboys out there beware, you have got some competition on the horizon. Love the Prima crystals and Western Trim buttons on the LO. They were bought several months before he was born and I just could not wait to use them.

A visit with the Little Buckaroo and family

Wow, time really does fly when you are having fun! I was off last week and Patrick's family came home for a visit. I wanted to be able to have some time to spend with the new baby who is already four months old. I have learned from experience with the other G-babies that they only stay small for a nano-second. Boyd is a good natured baby. He rarely cries and when he does his bottom lip quivers. That little manuever just melts your heart. He always gives you a big smile when you talk to him. While he was here he got to start eating food other than cereal and that led to well, never mind I won't go there! LOL He also got to
swing in the 'Johny Jump Up' for the first time and he loved that, even had a few cool moves to perform in it. Our trip to Jeykll Island was fun. One of the things we all did was climb up into one of the ancient oak trees. We love being around these trees and the shade they provide is such a relief on those days that the thermometor approached the hundred degree mark. Needless to say I got many pictures and added to those I got when Cory's family was here will keep me scrappin for a looooong time!

Welcome Home

It has got to be hard to be a military family. Having to leave your family for long periods of time and vice versa, waiting at home for your loved one to come home. One thing is for sure the Homecomings are great! This week we are awaiting one of ours to come home. Love you Cory can't wait for you to be home!

Just finished this LO of Sarah Beth. While she was here last week we did a short photo shoot and she was all about possing even brought the teddy bear along as a prop. So much fun in that little package!

Pictures in a Layout

You saw the pictures now they are in a layout ready to go into our summer scrapbook.
Love the super cute swimming title by Karen Foster Designs. Debbie found it an gave it to me knowing that sooner or later I would have the perfect place for it.

Scrap Art Fun

The G-kids where here last week so of course I had an art project ready for them. I gave them each a picture of themself, an 8.5 by 11 piece of chipboard and a selection of embellishments for them to pick from along with a clue stick and a stapler. Then I let them have at it. I showed them the one I was working on to give them a general idea and told them tell tell something about themselves on the story board. It was so fun to watch them create. Sarah Beth had hers loaded with embellishments, flowers, crowns ribbons, she had it all and lots of it! Sean was very precise and no frills with a cool saying. Scott was symetrical with no words, after all a picture is worth a thousand words, right? Unfortunately they headed back home before I got their work scanned in. Wah Wah Here is mine though and this project was so much fun I am sure we will do it again. Next time I will besure to get theirs scanned in!
