Mini Baby Shower Album

Recently my DIL had a baby shower and I made a mini album of the event. The album is 3.5 X 3.5 inches. I cut the invitation down to fit the front cover and used the remaining pieces on the back cover. The album includes four pages of lined paper for her to list the guests and their gifts. Here are a few pictures of the album. Hope you enjoy.

Whirlwind Weekend

What a weekend! It started Friday morning, I was exhausted from working the night before so, I caught a couple hours sleep. Then off to the airport where we were greeted with a two hour delay! Wah Wah Wah "When life gives you lemons make lemon aide", we had lunch at Sam Snead's and a couple of beers and enjoyed watching the crowd. By the end of our journey that night we were getting a little weary but seeing the family and going to Sarah Beth's fourth birthday party made it all worth while. The final event of the weekend was meeting for dinner at Pungo Pizza with my scrappping pen pal/friend Lisa and her family. She is simply the best, more about that later. Any way, I am out of the clouds and back to reality today!

Daddy's girl

Welcome home Cory! Today's layout is just for you! The patterned paper is from MME, the Bohemia collection, rub ons are from Stampin Up, flowers with buttons are from Sassafras Lass, brads, ribbon and staples finish it out. Can't wait to see you guys soon!

My Poor Baby

My poor baby (Rebel XS), where have you been? I have been trying to get a picture of my stamp club buds for several months now. Once again this month when we had our meeting I faithfully took my baby with me. However, in the course of the evening of touring Aleta's new home, making cards, having refreshments and talking our heads off I forgot. I not only forgot to take the picture I forgot to take my baby home with me. As soon as I got home I realized what I had done and called Aleta. Fortunately some of the girls where still there and would bring my baby home. Sigh of relief and joy! Several days later when I start to use my baby I notice some very unfamiliar pictures? Where had I been to take these and why? Oh, drat not another senior moment. Upon closer observation I see it is my scrappin buds and their butts!!! Aha, now I remember, my poor baby had been out of my sight for a short time. I had to chuckle to myself and plot my revenge. Alas, a good picture of half of our gang. Thanks for the laugh girls!

Happy Heart Day!

I have to work this weekend so we have done all of our Valentine celebrating. My super sweet hubby took me out to dinner last night at one of our local eateries. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the time together. Last week on our way to Maggie Beth's house John picked up a box of Chocolate cinnamon bears to give Maggie Beth for Valentine's Day. They sounded good and were packaged in a cute bear box. However, when you bit into them they had this thick jelly like stuff that nobody liked. We all had a good laugh over that and will stick to brands we know and love in the future!

Baby Shower Fun

There is nothing like a baby shower to get you out of the winter blues. Cindy's baby shower was held at the Azalea House in Dallas, Georgia. Such a cute place and her hosts made every thing perfect. This is just a small sampling of the gifts but don't you love those baby boy colors? Lots of scrapping inspiration there. The girls all looked so pretty. It was an all around feel good day with blue skies and spring like weather.

Rockin Out the Red

Seem to be using a lot of red lately. Could it be cause it is February, the month of
love? I don't know but, it is working for me.
