Christmas Love and Joy

Daddy is in charge of video and I am in charge of stills - thus no pics of me! Te He Heee Mommy gave Felicity to Maggie. She is one of Maggie's favorite AMG dolls. Boyd the Buckaroo got a rocking horse. LOL! Boyd got a new potty chair too, many laughs there! Maggie got another beloved horse for Felicity to ride. As always, John was one of Santa's best elves.
The church service on Christmas Eve was uplifting with so much beautiful music.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

Growing up in Indiana you just expect to have a white Christmas. I have such fond memories of bundling up and heading to Schaaf's hill with the neighborhood kids pulling our sleds. We would sled down the hill, make snowmen and build forts to have snowball fights. The only reason we would go back in the house is because our fingers and toes were aching with the cold. Once inside we would put our feet on the furnace register and hold a cup of hot chocolate in our hands. Aah, the sweet pain of it all! Now that I live in south Georgia I can't tell you when I had a White Christmas. I secretly wish for one every year and this year much to my suprise it happened! Although we were at Patrick's home in north Georgia it started happening by mid morning. By early evening we were out building a snowman and having snowball fights! It was hard to tell who was having more fun, the kids or the adults! Alas, the ole Nitro was snowed in and we were able to enjoy and extra day of snow play. Cory arrived home safely from overseas to Virginia only days before Christmas. Our family is so blessed! Happy snowballing!

Tossing the ball and Hangin Out

A visit would not be complete without the boys getting outside and tossing the ball around. Well they were doing this SB and I took a walk and found these dogs that we were told were abandoned. Well that is all SB had to hear for her to want to take them home. Her little heart was broken when she could not keep them.

My Girlfriend

Sarah Beth is so into putting on make-up and doing makeovers even though she is beautiful without that stuff. I can't help but indulge her fun! Here she carried her makeup bag to the park so she could do alittle touch up. Gotta love my girlfriend!

Cumberland Island Georgia part one

We enjoyed a beautiful day taking the ferry ride over to Cumberland Island and exploring the Dungeoness Ruins. The history is amazing, I highly recommend googling it up. However for the kids the pleasure was all in seeing the wild ponies that nearly come right up to you, then there was a group of turkeys' meandering around very bravely during Thanksgiving week. Armadillos were everywhere such funny cute creatures. Cindy brought the children outfits for Christmas pictures. We cannot wait to go back as there is so much more to explore.

A Cherry on Top

I just could not resist this chipboard cherry album when I already had cherry patterned material and cherry embellishments.

Little Beach Memory book

This little book did not start out life as a book but, a craft project. It started with an old fence plank painted white then glue on some shells, rocks, sticks and glitter. Pretty cute, yes? But what to do with it? It sat on my bookshelf in my craft room for months and then it dawned on me do drills some holes in it to make alittle memory book for Boyd's first visit to the beach.

Happy Halloween

Maggie Beth was in a Halloween play at school called"The Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything". She remembered all of her lines and the whole class was so much fun to watch.
