Georgia State Parks

Georgia has some of the most beautiful parks you could ever hope to find. We are so lucky to have Laurel Walker State park just a few miles outside of town. Recently John and I spent the afternoon out there reminiscing about early times spent skiing with our boys and playing with the grand kids there. We hope to visit many more Georgia State parks as we are out and about.

Last week was another busy week. We finally broke down and put a new roof on the house. No leaks but it had been over twenty five years since the last new roof was put on. Here is a big shout out to the boys at Lloyd's Roofing! They were great, had the whole job complete in three days! Great Job guys!

We completed a lot of our yard work. Got the azaleas all trimmed back, whew, glad that is over with! Also planted lots of new flowers and put out mulch. Oh I almost forgot we planted red raspberries! That should be a fun addition to the blueberries and strawberries we already have. Gotta go rest up now! LOL
