Friendships

A year and a half ago my best friend retired and moved to another state to be close to her family. It was a bittersweet time. I was happy for her to be starting a new chapter in her life but sad that she would not be in my daily life any more. She was here this weekend for a visit and it was like she had never been gone. We picked up right where we left off. It was a nonstop gab fest and we loved every minute of it!
